The Lady Raiders are proud to provide ongoing training to explore the decision to audition and to learn more about the program. Dancers are welcome to attend our programs to prepare for other auditions or future Lady Raiders auditions if you are not yet eligible. Lady Raiders 2012-2013 audition candidates should be 18 years of age or older by August 15, 2012.

• Going Pro Dance Class
  Dates: Wednesdays 8:45-9:45pm - April 18, May 23, June 20, July 18
  About: Technique and choreography classes led by Lady Raiders director Laura Eilers. Open to all dancers ages 16 or older. This is a great class to prepare for college or other pro auditions as well as the Lady Raiders, or for alumni performers who want to work on flexibility and just have fun!
  Location: Moi Fah Sports & Performing Arts Center at Stony Point Fashion Park, 9200 Stony Point Parkway #199, Richmond VA 23235
  Cost: $10.00 per person per class, $5.00 discount for Lady Raiders Ambassadors and Alumni. Pay with cash at the door or pay online
  Attire: Dance, cheer, fitness wear. Facility is carpeted, please wear soft sole dance shoes or may dance in socks or barefoot
  
  

• Lady Raiders Official Audition Prep Classes
  Dates: Sundays 3:00-5:00pm - May 6, May 20, June 3, June 17, July 1, July 15
  Location: Moi Fah Sports & Performing Arts Center at Stony Point Fashion Park, 9200 Stony Point Parkway #199, Richmond VA 23235
  Cost: $15.00 per person per class when paying online or $75.00 per person for all 6 classes when paying online. $20.00 per person per class cash only at the door.
  About: This official prep class series provides dance technique, performance style, new choreography and Q&A with the Lady Raiders director every session. Specific classes will focus on the following:
    May 6 - Fitness and nutrition, Performance skills 
    May 20 - Makeup, hair, eyelash application
    June 3 - Attire and communication
    June 17 - Fitness and nutrition, Performance skills 
    July 1 - Communication, professionalism and goal setting
    July 18 - Mock auditions with feedback
  Attire: Dance, cheer, fitness wear. Facility is carpeted, please wear soft sole dance shoes or may dance in socks or barefoot. It is recommended you practice correct audition attire and hair/makeup style during these classes
   
• Lady Raiders Official Audition Information Sessions - receive $5.00 off your audition fee!

  About: These meetings will cover all things you need to know about the Lady Raiders 2012-2013 program as well as auditions. Meet the Lady Raiders director, previous Lady Raiders, sponsors including hair, makeup, skin care, fitness and nutrition. It is highly recommended you attend one of these sessions, additionally you will receive $5.00 off your audition application by attending and submitting your application fee during this meeting - cash or check, or pay online.
  Attire: Business casual
   
• Open Call Auditions will be held in late July / early August
  Cost: Application fee $15.00 veterans | $25.00 rookies (get $5.00 off by submitting fee during an info session)
  Location: TBD, Richmond, VA
  Attire: Sleeveless crop top, fitted performance shorts (ie "hot pants"), panty hose, dance or athletic shoes, hair worn down with performance make up
